They are a great band from Vancouver that have a very British sound. The first song on the album “Top Of The World” is a great song that has a nice beat that can easily get stuck in your head.
This is one of my personal favorite albums I’ve found writing for this blog.

She’s Mine
Stars and The Sea are a post-punk band from Baltimore. The lead vocalist has a rather flat sounding voice but when the music picks up you notice it less and it doesn’t distract from the overall sound. I’ve included the bands newest single “Shes Mine” in this post. But, thats not really the bands best work. It is however their only free song. So I’d suggest clicking th link for their full album.

They have a classic sound thats nothing special. But Nickelback is living proof that people can love your music, even if you’re as original as a still life painting of fruit. Not that I’m saying they sound like Nickelback. That would be mean. I’m just saying that they have a nice sound, but its not the most original.
I wouldn’t pay very much to have this in my library. But for free? well thats a different story.

Famous People Marry Famous People by 20 Minute Loop
They are an alternative band from San Francisco. If you are a fan of bands that have both male and female vocals you should definitely check them out. But just as a normal alternative band they stand out a bit from the crowd with happy lyrics and a fast sound.

Marco’s Movement Shop
This album is hard to explain. Its supposed to be a mix of alternative and funk…But it just ends up being a strange mix of noises. The unfortunate part of this is that the singer actually has talent. When I was listening to this album I was really disappointed because it almost gets good…and then falls back down.
